How to use
Can a beginner master it?
Yes, please be assured. Basically, you can roast coffee by simply selecting an already registered profile, so even beginners can use it easily.
Is it okay if I don't have any roasting knowledge?
No problem. We recommend experiencing a stable roast with automatic profiles first, and then gradually customizing as you get used to it.
How do you perform maintenance and repairs?
Basically, you can use it for a long time with simple daily maintenance (cleaning).
In the unlikely event that repairs are needed, we will respond promptly, either domestically or in cooperation with the manufacturer.
Maintenance and Care [Roaster Cleaning Method]
・Brush off any remaining chaff (bean husks, etc.).
・Wipe the exterior of the roaster with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
・Coffee oil will accumulate in the roasting chamber with use, creating a "seasoned" surface.
There is no need to forcibly remove this oil.
Removing it will not improve the performance of the roaster or the taste of the coffee.
*Never touch or clean the tip of the temperature sensor.
Doing so may cause damage.
Maintenance and Cleaning: How to Clean the Chaff Collector
・Wipe the inner glass part regularly with a damp paper towel.
・After each roast, brush the mesh disc on the lid to remove the chaff (thin skin of the bean).
・To maintain consistent performance, ensure that the holes in the filter disc are not clogged.
・For thorough cleaning, disassemble the chaff collector and soak each component in an espresso machine cleaner (such as Cafetto EVO or Urnex) or a non-abrasive detergent containing sodium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate.
・Make sure all parts are thoroughly dry before reassembling the chaff collector for use.
What is a Fan Preview?
Fan Preview is a function that allows you to check the movement (circulation status) of beans before roasting. No heating is performed; only the fan is run to check in advance whether the beans are moving properly.

Please tell me how to do a Fan Preview.
You can check by following these steps:
- Weigh out 120g of green beans and load them into the roaster.
- Attach the chaff collector.
- Select the "K-logic Classic" profile.
- Press the "≡" button.
- When "Press ⏵ now for fan preview" is displayed, press ⏵.
- The fan will start.
- Check if "120g" and "14700 rpm" are displayed on the screen. (If not, adjust using +/–).
- Check that the beans are circulating well.
What should I do if the beans are not circulating properly?
Increasing the fan speed (rpm) may improve the situation. Also, if the amount of beans is too large, circulation will be poor, so please adjust to an appropriate amount.
Can I extend the roast time?
The maximum roasting time for this machine is 20 minutes and cannot be extended beyond that. However, the roast quality is determined not only by "time" but also by the "amount of heat applied and its change (RoR)."
By adjusting the profile, you can achieve a taste closer to your desired outcome.
Why do the fan numbers (RPM) appear so large when entered?
On this unit, the displayed fan speed is entered as 10 times the actual rotation speed (rpm). For example, if you enter "10", "100 rpm" will actually be added.
What is RoR?
RoR (Rate of Rise) is an indicator that shows the speed of temperature increase. It represents how quickly the temperature is rising during roasting and significantly impacts the flavor development.
Please tell me how to read the graph.
In the graph, we mainly check the following elements:
Temperature curve: Temperature changes of the beans
- RoR: Rate of Rise (speed of temperature increase)
- Fan/Heater output: Control status during roasting
Basically, a stable roast is considered to be one where the RoR curve gently declines.
Can I save the profile I created?
Yes, the profiles you create can be saved and reused. By saving them in the software and uploading them to the roaster, you can reproduce the same roast at any time.
Can I roast continuously?
Yes, you can.
As soon as the first roast has finished cooling, you can start the next roast.
The Nano 7 is designed for continuous use, allowing you to roast without any waiting time.
What is the maximum temperature it can heat to?
The maximum temperature setting for this device is approximately 230°C. Temperature settings higher than this are restricted for safety reasons.

This is my first time roasting coffee. Is it easy?
Yes, it's very easy. First, simply load 120g of green beans and press the "Start" button.
The Nano 7 will roast automatically.
If you want a darker roast, press the "+" button, and if you want a lighter roast, press the "-" button before starting.
Since the roasting is done according to profiles created by experts, even beginners can enjoy professional-quality flavor. For those who want to customize further, fine-tuning is possible with the "Studio" software included at the time of purchase.
Where can I buy green coffee beans?
Green beans can be easily purchased from online shops or roasteries (home roasting shops).
How long can green beans be stored?
They can typically be stored for about 12 months after harvest (the fresher the harvest, the longer they last).
Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place.
They are best enjoyed between 6 and 12 months after harvest.
What is a profile?
A recipe is a collection of settings such as "temperature," "time," and "airflow speed" during roasting.
The Nano 7 has default profiles built in, and you can also load other profiles via a USB stick.
These profiles enable consistent roasting every time.
How much smoke does it produce?
It produces a similar amount of smoke to stir-frying. A standard exhaust fan is sufficient to handle it.
If you have a high-performance exhaust fan, there will be almost no lingering odor, but if ventilation is poor, a fragrant roasting aroma may remain. If there is no exhaust fan, we recommend using an air purifier.
