If the BOOST KIT has not been updated:
First, reduce the input amount and check the bean circulation. Reduce the current input amount by 10g at a time and perform a Fan Preview.
Example: 120g → 110g → 100g
By adjusting gradually, you can find the optimal point where the beans circulate smoothly. Reducing the input amount often lightens the beans' movement and improves circulation.
Also, if you feel the "fan is too strong" when performing the Fan Preview, adjust by increasing the input amount by 10g at a time.
■ Important Points
- Fan Preview is a check tool based on 120g
- In actual roasting, optimize circulation by intentionally adjusting input amount and settings
- Especially for large volumes (150g or more), this adjustment significantly impacts roasting quality
What is the optimal state?
The goal is to find the "minimum fan level" at which the entire surface of the bean mass moves.
If the fan is too strong, it leads to unnecessary heat loss and unstable behavior; if it's too weak, heat builds up, affecting roasting reproducibility.
Proper circulation is the foundation for stable roasting and clean flavors.
