With Nano 7, you can view a "roast log" in Studio, which overlays the actual temperature change on the profile curve, allowing you to see in detail how the beans responded to the profile across various channels, including Rate of Rise and Element Power.

"Studio" has an editor that allows you to intuitively draw the curve of your roast profile. It also allows you to set a variety of settings, such as fan profiles and timed changes to the roaster's behavior during roasting. To make it easy for beginners to use, there are four difficulty levels, so you can start with a more moderate setting.

Whether you're looking to tweak an existing core profile or create a roast profile from scratch, Studio is the ideal tool.

Start a roast on the Nano 7, then monitor it live in Studio. Or connect your laptop to the roaster. Check the log and taste. Extract a profile from the log, make changes, and save the edited profile to the roaster. By repeating this process, you can quickly develop a custom profile that reflects how your beans actually behaved.

"Studio" is designed to utilize the Nano 7 as a sample roaster for commercial production. It supports import/export of major formats such as Artisan, Cropster, Sonofresco™, and Ikawa™ (read only). Because production roasters use different bean temperature probes, temperature/time conversion settings can be automated, optimized, and saved, allowing for near-instant transfer of Kaffelogic profiles to production roasters.

Even if you don't have a Kaffelogic roaster, you can download it for free and try it out. Of course, having a roaster will double the fun, but feel free to use it for "trial roasting."
